About the Horizon’s Edge Yacht
Designed for harbor cruises and special events, the Horizon’s Edge yacht is 175 ft long and will leave a lasting impression on all guests. This lavish, state-of-the-art vessel boasts three decks and a sky lounge, offering ample space for dining, dancing, lounging, and sightseeing in the New York Harbor.
Some of its key features include:
- Capacity: Up to 600 guests for cocktail receptions and 500 for seated dinners
- Lavish interior: Elegant furnishings, modern design, and LED
- Three spacious bars
- Large restrooms
Please note that the Horizon’s Edge yacht is not entirely handicap accessible. Those with mobility issues will find comfort on the first deck, but there is no lift on the boat, which will make moving around difficult.
Pier 81 is a very busy area with many different tourist boats. Please look for our NY & NJ MSDC Volunteers with yellow shirts to help you board the yacht.
What to Wear
We call this “yacht casual” attire. Because summer weather can change in a minute—and we set sail rain or shine!
The captain recommends sunglasses, shawls, light jackets, and rubber sole shoes! He suggests: Flat, rubber-sole/non-slip textured shoes (men & women), are strongly recommended as we cannot predict the condition of the gangway and outside top deck.
