10:30am-12:30pm Corporate Workshop: Unconscious Bias

For over forty-five years we have pushed the agenda of diverse supplier inclusion in our procurement practices however we have not been successful in breaking down those walls completely.  Could it be that there are other factors that we have not thought about?  Could it be that decisions are made based on unconscious beliefs?

In this session our Corporate Members will hear from an expert in the field of unconscious bias and how it impacts the way we engage with others and how we make decisions.  Having that understanding should better prepare us to overcome some of those unspoken barriers in dealing with our procurement teams, our business stakeholders and our MBE suppliers.
