The role of our holding company is to provide resources and support to ensure that our agencies can best meet clients’ needs. Based in New York City, our holding company sets company-wide financial objectives and corporate strategy, establishes financial management and operational controls, guides personnel policy, directs collaborative inter-agency programs, conducts investor relations, provides enterprise risk management and oversees mergers and acquisitions. In addition, we provide limited centralized functional services that offer our companies operational efficiencies, including accounting and finance, executive compensation management and recruitment assistance, employee benefits, marketing information retrieval and analysis, internal audit, legal services, real estate expertise, sourcing and travel services.

IPG was the first marketing solutions holding company to hire a full-time Supplier Diversity Director. Floyd Conway, the company’s Senior Supplier Diversity Director has worked for Interpublic for eighteen years and has over 30 years of experience in various procurement and strategic sourcing positions. He took on his current responsibilities in 2006.

Floyd reports to Eliseo Rojas, Chief Procurement Officer, and works closely with the sourcing team in support of IPG’s goals to build strategic relationships with small and diverse suppliers. He is also responsible for leading the company’s efforts to increase spending with diverse suppliers by developing and implementing enterprise wide supplier diversity strategies.

His outreach efforts include collaborating with clients, key decision makers at IPG, operating companies, and external organizations.

IPG is currently focused on identifying certified MBE’s in the production and media areas. These suppliers should have expertise in delivering best in class solutions on behalf of our agencies and clients.
