Katherine O’Hara is founder and president of The O’Hara Project, a MBE, WBE and CPUC-certified firm offering marketing, public relations, and experiential services. Founded in 2011, The O’Hara Project represents clients ranging from Fortune 100, to start-ups to non-profits.
Katherine, the daughter of Cuban immigrants, has been honored with over 200 industry awards including Business Woman of the Year by the Morris County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a “40 Under 40” Winner by NJBIZ, and recognition as a Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneur and Leading Brand Builder by LWE. She is frequently tapped as an industry expert by outlets such as MSN, AMEX OPEN Forum, CBS and Success Magazine.
Community service is core to Katherine’s DNA and each year The O’Hara Project runs a national search for a nonprofit that receives $125,000 of pro bono PR services. To date, The O’Hara Project has gifted over $800,000 of services.
