The Partnership Awards Gala is a prestigious event that honors the trailblazers, innovators, and champions who have significantly advanced diversity in business. This annual event recognizes the outstanding contributions of both individuals and corporations that exemplify excellence and commitment in advancing these crucial areas. As we prepare to celebrate, let’s take a moment to highlight the prestigious awards that will be presented:
The Supplier of the Year award is given each year to an MBE from each class (I, II III, IV) that exemplifies excellence in service and business success during the NY & NJ MSDC Annual Partnership Awards Gala Suppliers that successfully win regionally advance to the NMSDC Supplier of the Year competition.
The Corporation of the Year award is given each year to recognize a Corporate Members company’s exemplary achievement in minority supplier development at the Council’s Partnership Award Gala. The three categories are National Corporate of the Year, Local Corporation of the Year, and Advocate of the year.
These awards are regarded as a most significant honor to a major corporation for the utilization of Asian, Black, Hispanic, and Native American suppliers. In winning the award, a company demonstrates exceptional strength in areas critical to maintaining a solid minority supplier development process – policies; procurement particularly growth in dollars and percent; MBE development; and leadership & engagement. The National Corporations that win this award advance to the NMSDC National Corporation of the Year competition.
The Special Appreciation award is given to express our gratitude for their hard work and dedication to supplier diversity and minority business development.
