Dawn Fitch-Mitchell leads DDB’s Supplier Diversity efforts, titled “Diversity + Creativity Partners Program.” In her role, Dawn is responsible for corporate commitment, strategy and building an inclusive culture for all of the DDB Network, with a concentration on North America. Dawn joined DDB two years ago.
Dawn started her career in Supplier Diversity over eight years ago, where she has worked on initiatives for Professional Partnering Solutions at Saatchi & Saatchi North America and Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (PHCG). Before joining the ad world, she was able to view Supplier Diversity through a different lens as Business Development Director and Vendor Systems Specialist.
DDB’s program is based on three principles, where the agency refers to as “C3: Connect. Communicate. Create.”
1. Connect diverse partners to agency culture
2. Communicate partnerships throughout the network
3. Create opportunities to innovate ideas
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) will recognize the DDB Diversity + Creativity Partners program at the upcoming 2016 Mosaic Awards in New York City. DDB and Dawn are being recognized for its efforts in North America to promote change in business habits, move processes from “Compliance to Culture” and encourage building relationships with diverse partners.
The suppliers and services that mostly support DDB’s business and clients are entities with expertise in production, post production, digital media, storyboards, casting, animation, digital motion design, music/sound, 3D animation, VFX, premiums, digital and tech.
