2018 Year in Review

Oh, what a marvelous 45th anniversary year we have had! 2018 was filled with tremendous celebration, which culminated with a grand gala, productivity, and progress. It was all because of you. We are grateful for your sustained involvement in our ambitious endeavors to make local, national, and global impact.

Our constituents include over 100 corporations, government agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations. We are also proud to say that we have approximately 1,000 certified minority suppliers and recertified over 700 minority business enterprises (MBEs) in 2018. Our work to encourage corporate members to include MBEs as their regular suppliers of products, goods and services continued to lead to billions of dollars being spent with Council-certified MBEs.

Educational programs, MatchMaking sessions, and networking events fostered valuable learning and many mutually beneficial relationships between MBEs and corporate members throughout the states of New York and New Jersey.

As our 45th year of making a difference to diverse suppliers and corporations ends, know that we will not rest on our laurels. We will celebrate new victories and build upon them. The Council will continue to fervently advocate for minority firms and supplier diversity champions. We enter 2019 with renewed dedication to providing our members with enhanced business opportunities.

Thank you again for joining our journey. On behalf of The Council, we wish you the happiest holidays and a wonderful and prosperous New Year!

Sincerely,

Terrence Clark
