About the Event
The Upstate New York Regional Xchange & Golf Outing packages the New York and New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council’s (The Council’s) most popular and successful events into one powerful conclave. Over the course of two days, August 20 – 21, participants network on the greens and take part in sessions created to promote supplier diversity, all while exploring ways to grow and develop minority-owned business enterprises (MBEs).
The 2019 Upstate New York Regional Xchange & Golf Outing takes place over the course of two days. Day one, August 20, don your favorite golf attire and bring your best irons to Eagle Vale Golf Club, located at 4344 Nine Mile Point Road, Fairport, New York 14450 – just minutes from downtown Rochester. On day two, August 21, the Xchange business conference takes center stage at Wegmans Conference Center, 200 Wegmans Market Street, Rochester, New York 14624.
Don’t miss this opportunity to merge business with pleasure and advance your enterprise. Traverse the fairways on Tuesday and golf at Eagle Vale — Rochester’s premier public golf course with a country club setting. This scenic championship course provides the perfect environment to exercise your drive, test your skills on the links, and most importantly, network with fellow MBEs and corporate members.
The Xchange follows on Wednesday, August 21. This business conference serves MBEs, corporate members and public agencies alike. On Wednesday, we examine the needs of corporate America and government entities to secure partnerships with MBEs, and address the challenges MBEs face when seeking contracting opportunities in Upstate New York.
The event features speakers from government agencies and private corporations, as well as workshops.
