Laurinda Thomas is Director of Supplier Diversity at ADP – the 70+-year-old comprehensive global provider of cloud-based human capital management solutions that unite HR, payroll, talent, time, tax, and benefits administration. Based in Roseland, New Jersey, Laurinda is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of ADP’s Supplier Diversity Program.
With over 20 years of experience in supply chain management, Laurinda is known for assisting top-performing diverse suppliers in securing new business at ADP. Laurinda joined ADP in 2011, specializing in contract management in the IT space. In 2017, she took over leadership of the Supplier Diversity Program. Supplier diversity spend at ADP has increased by 22 percent since Laurinda began managing the program.
Laurinda champions supplier diversity by educating ADP associates about the benefits of collaborating with diverse suppliers to drive innovation. Her work with The Council consists of attending events that engage existing and prospective suppliers. She also offers sessions that provide suppliers with information about payroll and benefits platforms that could help with the day-to-day operations of their businesses.
